PureSafety has an immediate, full-time opening for a C# Developer based out of our corporate office in Franklin, TN.  If you are a highly motivated individual wanting to work on cutting edge Web based projects and technologies, we want to talk to you.  We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated; organized; able to deliver large projects with organizational evolution goals in mind. You must be a strong team player eager able to work in a fast paced dynamic environment.   The Developer will be responsible for new development, functional enhancements and maintenance requests for our Web based business solutions. You will work closely with development team members to provide requirements analysis, design solutions, coding and testing services for our business solutions.  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Create and edit various Web applications as required using either C#.
  • Write and maintain appropriate documentation to describe program development, logic, coding revisions and corrections.
  • Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.
  • Consult with Project Leads to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives.
  • Assist other developers in problem solving techniques following industry best practices

 

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills a must
  • Excellent analytical and design skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technical skills
  • Understanding of full project life cycle and development methodologies
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented development principals
  • Minimum of 3 years in software design/development experience
  • 2-4 years experience developing solutions for a Web based software development
  • 5 years minimum in Microsoft SQL Server (2000 or 2005) experience in a web environment
  • Development experience with Oracle a plus
  • Minimum of 3 years experience using C#
  • Minimum of 3 years experience using HTML/DHTML
  • Minimum of 3 years experience using JavaScript
  • Proficient in Windows/IIS environment OR Linux/Tomcat
  • Proficient in Visual Studio, Microsoft Office, and Visio
  • Microsoft Team Foundation Server experience is a plus
  • Development experience with CSS is a plus
  • Development experience with Web Services is a plus
  • Development experience with SQL Reporting Services is a plus

 

Education:

     Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent (required)
